My favorite workout is by far a good sprint session with my supersprint teammates, and it doesn’t matter if it is on cross country skiis or roller skiis, as long as it is a hard and fast workout. If I have to choose a second workout as my favorite, it would be a perfect day of cross-country skiing with freshly groomed slopes, perfect sunny weather, crisp air and blue extra under my skiis.
Nansenparken at Fornebu is my perfect training area for rollerskiing, the wide walkways with beautiful surroundings and almost no hard hills to climb is the ultimate training area for going fast on my rollerskiis. When winter comes, nothing beats the perfect slopes at Sjusjøen, always groomed to perfection!
- When it’s cold outside: When the temperature drops, I always use wool on the inside, my favorite Dæhlie wool product is the Airnet. I feel that the Airnet has good breathability. Over the baselayer I usually just wear a jacket, my favorite is Dæhlies Jacket Legend 3.0. If it becomes really cold, I usually put on the Seefeld vest on the outside. The Primaloft Insulation in the vest then keeps me warm.
- When it’s warm outside: When the sun is shining, and the air is warm I like to use clothes with good breathability. It is important to me that the clothes I wear feels light and “cold”. My favorite t-shirt is Endorfin. It keeps me dry when the training is toughest. .

Since I’m so lucky that my job is to be a ski coach for Team China, I’m training a lot with them, but when I’m doing my own sessions, I’m doing some heavy strength in the gym to become faster and stronger and I either go skiing or rollerskiing with some speed training most of the times!
