Emil’s weekly training schedule usually includes two sessions a day, morning and evening. He does most workouts in his home village of Haugsbygd. On a normal training day, he eats a good breakfast before heading out for his first session, lasting 1.5-2 hours. After training, he eats lunch and then rests until the next round, which also lasts 1.5-2 hours.
His activities vary greatly during the summer. He runs and roller skis a lot, works on strength and does biking both on and off the road.

Emil has tested Dæhlie clothes during many types of weather and activities: Everything from mountain runs at 30 degrees C to slush on Sognefjell mountain. He says the clothing is amazing and works well under all conditions.
