She grew up in Melbu on north Norway's Vesterålen Islands with her mother, father, sister and brother. She’s done sports her whole life and has tried her hand at most of them. It took a long time for her to choose between cross-country skiing and cycling though. She’s enjoyed a lot of wonderful experiences in both sports, especially when she got to ride for Norway at the Youth Olympics in the Netherlands. In the end, she went for cross-country skiing, since that was her favourite.
She now lives in the town of Meråker with her partner Jan Thomas Jenssen and studies the sports as an educational discipline. In Meråker, her daily life consists of training, eating and resting, and, not least, being part of a great skiing environment where she can train with a large group of female skiers who challenge and learn from each other.
Marthe wearing Jacket Extend and Pants Determend.
Marthe has always been much taller than the average. At 180 cm, she often struggled to find clothes and training attire that fit because the sleeves and legs were too short or the outfits had to be too big to get long enough limbs. Her preference for Dæhlie sportswear started long before she became a Dæhlie ambassador because she could find clothes that fit.
Marthe loves wearing sports attire and, naturally, is interested in their design and colours. She is delighted to have the opportunity to be a Dæhlie ambassador and a part of such a renowned brand. The role has offered her a broad range of experiences and, above all, more self-confidence.
