Washing and caring for your sportswear helps maintain its appearance and make it last longer. For technical apparel, it also helps maintain and restore functionality and performance.
We have put together some tips to help you take care of your sportswear:
Only wash when necessary to reduce the environmental impact.
Following the care instructions helps preserve the color, texture, performance, and overall lifespan of your garments.
Close all zips and fasten Velcro before washing to prevent damage.
Use a laundry bag to reduce microfiber release into the water.
Remember to use the correct liquid detergent to preserve your garments.
If the garment gets stained, remove the stain as quickly as possible to prevent it from setting.
Wool and Wool Blends
Always follow the washing instructions on the care label inside the garment.
Use a liquid detergent specially designed for wool products.
Never use a fabric softener or enzyme-based detergents on wool products.
We recommend using the wool program on your washing machine to prevent wool fibers from tangling or felting due to mechanical friction, pressure, and heat.
Use a laundry bag for delicate wool garments to provide extra protection.
Never wash delicate wool garments with items that have sharp objects, such as zippers or buttons, as they can damage the wool.
Avoid hanging heavy wool garments — lay them flat to dry instead.
Do not twist wool garments to remove excess water; instead, gently press the water out.
Do not tumble dry wool.
100% wool is naturally resistant to dirt and odors, so it doesn’t need to be washed after every use. Let it rest between uses to allow the wool fibers to recover their natural strength and elasticity.
Hang the garment outside in fresh air to refresh it or place it in the freezer or out in the snow overnight.
Tights and Tops

Close all zippers and fasten Velcro before washing.
Wash with similar colors.

Cotton items can be tumble-dried on low heat.
Do not iron directly onto prints or decorations.

Training Jackets and Training Pants
Always follow the washing instructions on the care label inside the garment.
Wash the garment inside out.
Close all zippers and fasten Velcro before washing.
Wash with similar colors.
Use a bleach-free liquid detergent.
Never use fabric softener on garments with membranes.
For products with durable water repellent (DWR) treatment: Once the garment is dry, tumble dry for 20 minutes to reactivate the DWR. If ironing is required, use a gentle setting and protect the garment with a towel or cloth.
If the water-repellent treatment stops working, washing the garment and exposing it to heat, as described above, may be sufficient. If not, reapply a waterproofing treatment using a spray or wash-in product. Choose a PFAS- (PFC-) free alternative.

For products with durable water repellent (DWR) treatment: Once the product is dry, tumble dry for another 20 minutes to reactivate the DWR.
If the water-repellent treatment stops working, washing the garment and exposing it to heat, as described above, may be sufficient. If not, reapply a waterproofing treatment using a spray or wash-in product. Choose a PFAS- (PFC-) free alternative.
